Panic! At the Shark Tank

After last night's disappointing loss, it's time to start to worry. No need for FancyStats in this post, the Sharks crapped the bed the entire night while the Kings very clearly came out to play.
On top of all of that, Marc-Edouard Vlasic left in the middle of the first period with an "upper-body injury" after taking an elbow to the head along the boards from the Kings' Jarret Stoll.

I don't think much else needs to be said except that, with the combination of the second straight loss and the huge blow to the D-corps, it is time to start getting worried. The Sharks can still probably win this series, though it just got that much more difficult, but if Vlasic is out for an extended period of time (and judging by the lack of communication by the Sharks, that increasingly seems to be the case) the Sharks chances of a deep playoffs run just got shot down.

The playoffs are always a roller coaster and teams have to weather the storm. The only thing to do is to try to stay positive, and (I can't believe I'm about to quote him) in the word of Ray Ratto, "JUST WIN THE GAME."

Please just win the game.....one.....game. I don't want to start watching baseball all summer yet. *Cries in to triple shot of whiskey*
